East Belgium
I traveled to Allmuthen, Belgium with two members of the 99th Infantry Division MIA Project to visit the crash site of my Great-Great-Great Uncle Lane whose plane was shot down during WWII in the Battle of the Bulge, 1944.
My part of this journey began in 2015 when I attended my Uncle's burial in Cleveland, Ohio and the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. He was laid to rest seventy-one years after his death.
